Peace after Joy!

Having Gus in the house for two days revealed to us just how very good and content he is!  Nancy adores him and is doing such a wonderful job with him... she has found a peaceful and joyful place after struggling with hormones after giving birth.  Her son is reflecting her calm and happiness with her new role of being a mother!  Her heartfelt wish has been answered... we are all so happy and excited to welcome our precious Augustine into the world!
Gus got to meet our friend from Guatemala - a Missionhurst priest - Fr Germain Louwagie, Great Grandma Verly's first cousin.  He has so many special people in his life already at only 11 weeks old!
Melt the heart of grandma to have him look at me and smile!  A neighbor lady stopped by and wanted to see "the gift."  Such a beautiful description of him, and one that I totally agree with!  I can see why this lady has been a wonderful "mom" to over 300 kids as a foster mother.  Thank the Lord for wonderful couples like she and her husband, who take the children that have been so hurt and neglected and give them love and stability!  So needed and such a living of their faith and sharing the Love of Christ for the little ones of this world!

Stories with cousins and lots of love... Little Gus is showered with love and kindness, and like a small seed that has put its new growth up through the soil into the sunlight and the life-giving rains - little Gus is growing and changing before our very eyes.  We protect him and keep the weeds away by always being vigilant to his every need and showing him our love.

Goodbye Gus!  We love you and will see you soon!  Thank you for showing us the beauty of the gift of new life... we are filled with wonder and awe at your LOVE and LIFE!  A lesson to be learned from one of the newest and the smallest!  Jesus, we trust in you!  Amen, Hosanna and Halleluia!
