I do try to focus all my energy and thoughts = prayers on Jesus in the monstrance, but there was something that I was pondering in the midst of my special time with HIM. I noticed that this year there were only a few real Easter lillies... there were large beautiful artificial ones, but just not quite like real. I spotted a couple lillies on the baptismal font and I just yearned to get a picture with the perspective of the glorious monstrance nestled in amongst the few remaining blossoms. The thought of standing there at close range with others watching really did not seem the route to go, so I went over by the St Joseph altar, and standing up there I could get the right vantage point, and with the beauty of cropping and all... I am quite happy with the resulting visual image of Christ in the Lillies! It speaks Resurrection to me! Halleluia!
