We gathered for a celebration of Pat's mom's 94th birthday in about a week over the weekend. As with aging there are some challenging times for Great-grandma and my granddaughter, Mary, truly has taken it upon her heart to pray diligently for Great-grandma Ann. There were some days we had the kids while Ruth and Paul were in Washington DC... it really struck me when we prayed together at night how much Mary really had it on her heart to pray for this special lady. There is a certain way that Ruth and Paul pray with their kids at night, so they would lead prayers and sure as heck Mary would pray for mom, dad, siblings here and in the womb, and grandparents, and Great Grandma too! It always made me smile to hear her in prayer - knowing that she loves and cares for this lady, who is always there in her life just as she was in her mom's life. Last night as Mary was heading off to mass with her family - Great grandma told Mary that some days she should walk over to her house after school as the Catholic School is just a few blocks from her house. "Your old enough. Your mom would let you come over some night after school." So wonderful to think that Mary could do that just as her mom and aunts and uncle did the generation before!

Little Rose would like great-grandma to be there when she is old enough to walk over when she is in school too! Jesus, we trust in YOU. Bless-bless, Barb
Happy Birthday #94! We love you, and are forever touched by your loving gift of self for us!
" Let the little ones come to me!" Always a lover of children and such a powerful witness to the LOVE of all LIFE!
