Lately I have been feeling a lot of nostalgia in seeing my grandchildren and having them remind me sweetly of my children at those ages. Rose is so much reminding me of her mom... here she is looking so much like Ruth snuggling one of their kittens.
Sunday dinner out on Ruth's porch... Rose loves mashed potatoes - notice she already has eaten them all and soon to ask for seconds. That is so much like her mom- I suppose she makes huge pots of mashed potatoes out of her love and now her kids love them too- most especially Rose Ida!
Out to check out the chickens in their new coop.

Rose with a chicken. All the kids with the chickens reminds me of my kids and the chickens we had over the years. Ruth had a pet runt chicken at this age named chicklet. This is so reminiscent of her mom with chicklet.
