12 hours down and 8 to go - supper with family on Boot Hill!

10 hours into our trip we shared a nice supper with this little sweetie on Boot Hill in Dodge City!  Little Charlie Cross will be one on our Anniversary - August 3!  It all worked out for us to share a meal with wonderful Sam and Kara and their sweet baby boy!  After a couple of weeks in the 60s on Lake Michigan the 90 degree heat was a bit hot, but I am told by the grandkids that it is not as hot as it will be in Texas...  Yikes!
Kara and Charlie in the sun...
Patrick and Charlie getting to know each other with a kiss on the eye.  It would be wonderful if they could run around together at Christmas Camp in December - we can hope and dream anyways...
Therese loves those babies and they sure do love her too...
In the hot Kansas sun after sharing some family time - what a gift!  Tomorrow at this time we will have spent some time with Lt Joseph... we hope to be in El Paso by about 3p tomorrow and have supper for him when he gets home from work.  Thank you, Lord, for safe travels and time with family on the road at a place where history took place in our young country!  Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Bless-bless, Barb
So loved by mom and dad!
We love you Sam, Kara and Charlie - you are a picture perfect family in the wild wild West!
Naptime on the way... They look like a zigsaw puzzle that fits together.
Therese picked mulberries at Ruth's last night and died her feet purple.
One more of Charlie for Grandma in Minnesota...  "Miss you and love you grandma!"
Photo: St. Kateri Tekakwitha, Lily of the Mohawks, pray for us!
Spoke about and prayed to and with St Kateri as on our trip today - sharing morning prayer with Maria and the mass readings today.
