Pat arrives to the love of his little ones

Grandpa arrives and his arms are full of little ones immediately!  This is why he drove all day to get here, and he wasn't disappointed at all!
Grandpa walked down to see the "miracle sand" that appeared on our beach this year with bare feet!  He is totally amazed too!
The two Patrick's genuflect together after mass along with little Therese...
Therese got to hold her cousin, 3week old Bernadette, while the Bishop of the UP conducted mass tonight.

The two girls on the way to the lighthouse tonight. Our annual walk was the coldest we remember ever.  Each year is its own.  This is about our 15th year if walking to the LIGHTHOUSE after mass on Saturday night.
The waves were big and many of us got wet from them splashing up.
Windy cold and wet on the walk out to the lighthouse.
 Waves splashing - reflections..
Dominic ducks out of his blankets for his first trip out to the LIGHTHOUSE.
Yes, I got wet with a huge wave on the way out to the Lighthouse... a cute grandkids picture for 2014!  They all have their red, white and blue T-shirts on, but it was too cold to take off the sweatshirts.   Still a cherished pic with the 11!
Pretty good for windswept cold - the fireworks were cancelled for tonight due to the cold wind!
Dominic peeks out for their family picture - Bandzuch 2014 at Manistique, MI Lighthouse.
Maria and her 3 1/2 - hubby Lt Joseph in El Paso - we miss you!  So glad Maria and kids could be with us this year.

Maria and Patrick in the wind...
The Lanoue bunch 2014 - Dave was tired of picture taking, I guess.
 Yes, John is here too!
Look at Rose's hair to see the wind!  Note the direction of the flags that is how the wind is blowing on us off that cold cold Big Lake Michigan!  7 of the 11 in front of the lighthouse - the youngest 4 are missing... maybe next year.
The cooks with their flag cake creation...  4th of July celebration on the 5th with grandpa!
They all gather around for cake and ice cream after a special day.  There were some in tears when we heard that the fireworks will be next Saturday after we leave for home.
Mary poses on the rocks by the lighthouse for grandma.   She knows what makes me happy!  Thank you, Lord, for getting Pat here safe and sound, and give us a wonderful time with family.  Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Bless-bless, Barb
