Supper for 18 - another great memory of the 11 grandkids - no Dominic did not eat spaghetti at 3 and 1/2 weeks...

The 11 at supper tonight!  And to think that Pat and I grew up with this at every mealtime - I the oldest of 11 and Pat the middle of 10.  It has been eye opening to make meals for all these kids and adults... we are going through a lot of food here!
The time is flying by and my mind is thinking about some more keepsake pictures to get before we are separated by many miles once again.  Tonight with all of them contentedly eating spaghetti I had Nancy sit in with Dominic, so that they were all gathered together - Luke is the primo smiler for grandma.  Some familiar with the cabin might ask about the table arrangement - we brought up mom and dad's round table so that all of us could sit together for a meal...
For those curious about the layout we have to seat everyone... actually Pat had to sit in Rose's place as she got done early.
Can't get enough of the kids together... so be prepared for other attempts to get them together before next Saturday.
What a great picture of Bernadette with the soft kitty from the cat bedroom at the cabin.  Her dimples are so wonderful and really make her smile so special!
Then her brother joined her on the bed - wide awake!
Pat with the 2 babies and a toddler, Luke!  The young ones are needing a lot of attention and grandpa wants to be giving it to them!
Our special Michigan rock and the great fossil Mary found yesterday  - we are calling it a heliophyllum  coral from our fossil book.  So much fun for grandma to share this with granddaughters and daughter, Nancy.  The generations of fossil hunting is a great adventure for us here in Michigan just as it was for me growing up at Traverse City - Kewadin.  You never know what you will find out there.  Jesus, thank you and we trust in YOU.  Bless-bless, Barb
Tonight a bunch headed out to the circus here in town - this was a photo op I had to take advantage of.
The three toddlers coloring after the big people left for the circus with all the kids but 4.. a short time later they were all in the tub - now in jammies and running around playing upstairs in the loft.  They all started to say "cheese" for the camera and Patrick must have moved his face.  We just had some fighting going on and the toddlers are now in separate corners and getting talked to.
