Our two weeks are coming to an end...

We had sun today... Patrick tried out the chair swing as Rose watched. I tried to get them to share the swing, but that didn't work out.  I had the 3 toddlers down on the beach tonight and they sat around me and watercolored with the help of grandma filling their brushes.  It was calm, so the mosquitoes were thick.  It took the fun out of our swinging tonight.  The clear skies led to some cold temps as the sun set... but the full moon is spectacular to see on the lake...
Therese and Dominic spend lots of time together while they can.  On Monday Maria and I with her 3 kids will drive back to El Paso over 2 days starting out from Marshall bright and early!   I will spend a couple days there and fly back on Thursday.  We are all getting to the point of looking forward to getting back to our homes.
A fairly good one of the 11 with grandpa and grandma from last night - Simon is turned away or it would have been super great... still good to have as a cherished memory.  I am thinking of a few more ways to capture the 11 before we head back on Saturday.  I picture 11 glowing faces amongst the daisies that grow wild up here everywhere.  I have heard there is a nice meadow for a picnic.  Too much for an old grandma to ponder.  I am so much wanting to have as many keepsakes as possible.
Billy with his most precious boys... Nancy said that Dominic had very cold feet after the beach last night.  "I bundled him up in a onesy, footy jamie and blanket and he slept from 10p-5a!  I think he loved getting warm and snuggly."
The frog hunters with some of their big frogs!   They have 5 big ones, 13 teenage frogs, and a jar with tadpoles.
John and Pat arrived in the Cities a bit ago - now Pat is going on to Marshall.
His last few hours here in Michigan all grandpa wanted to do was to go for a walk on Beautiful beach with his grandkids.  Rose with grandpa walking in the sand on a calm and sunny day.
This must be paradise!  Lord, get Pat home safe and sound and good weather to get a lot of her hay cut and baled.  Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Bless-bless, Barb
Many times with the little ones by the hand - This one is Bernadette - age 20 months.
How I love this gift from today - just before John left for the Cities with Pat.  Bill is the lone man here with all us women and children.  We are blessed by his presence!
