Out to see the lake for the first time! Now they are all down on the beach checking out the miracle of sugar sand on our beach this year... Making all the difference for this large group with many small children that can now play in the sand!
The 11 together - someone joked that Maria should put her belly over the couch to represent #12 due in a couple months... Little Dave was chilly - all I relish in is that I have all my grandkids in one spot for the first time ever! Seeing that Dominic is only 3 weeks and Maria lives 2 days away in Texas... this is quite a miracle in itself!
David much happier with his buddy Gus!
Patrick and Dominic share some loving times with mommy, Maria!
Some gifts from Gail for the whole family- Gus the Fish is a hit for the crowd of grandkids.
Therese and Maria make a special blanket for baby Dominic! So special!
More Gus the Fish read by Bill...
Now the wonderful Bernadette book from the extended family!
Just finished morning prayer with John out in the sun on the deck watching Ruth and the kids tie dye their T-shirts for the parade tomorrow. So wonderful to sing "America" together for our hymn and remembering how blessed we are to live in a free country... yet, the darkness of sin and death overshadow our world here. "May all taking of life - most especially the innocent in the womb come to an end, O Lord." Our heartfelt prayer for today. Yes, Lord, "those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do." Today in the Gospel you remind us that you are standing there with your arms open to forgive those that are stumbling in the darkness - sick and sorrowful and sinful. "I desire mercy, not sacrifice. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners." Matthew 9:9-13
Dominic with the special stitching Therese did for him! Jesus, I am so filled to the brim with all that really matters in LIFE - Faith and Family! Of course, the Farm too is our way of life and always a part of our masterpiece work of art... LOVE/LIFE/LIGHT! Jesus, may we remember with love all those that don't know You, and be kind and merciful as You are to us. Jesus, we trust in YOU. Amen and Hallelujah
One of the precious 2 I got of chilly Dave and buried Therese... Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
