Ruth with her sweet little Lukey is now 14 months... he is so sweet and loving and he gives such great hugs!
Rose cut her own bangs, and that makes her look so much like her mommy did. It gives me so much joy to see her - my little Rose Ida... 35 years ago it was Ruth Ida!
The two 6 year old cousins watching how to train your dragon... it is so good to have the kids able to share time together over this Christmas week!
Joseph played guitar for us, and then he started teaching his kids how to play. "Playing the guitar is something you will always be glad you can do!"
Both the boys got a turn to try to strum and hold the strings.. It has been such a fun day for Patrick as he was able to share a lot of time with grandpa outside. He was able to load a semi full of bales buckled in beside grandpa, feed cattle, and then spend some time out in the shop with grandpa, and ride the 4 wheeler some. "Yeah!" says Patrick when I ask him if he had a good day with grandpa.
Patrick takes a turn trying to play. It would be a wonderful gift to pass on to all the kids. We so enjoy having the music in the house.
Rose tells grandma that their puppy is "my Holly."
Now the sweetness in black and white! The second day of the year has been good and filled with love and sharing. I will work on Sunday and Ruth's 3 oldest start back at school next week, so the vacation is coming to an end. We will still try to get some time together in the evenings after homework for some meals. Ruth and Paul leave next week for their competition in California. They are working hard at sharing their love for the farm! Jesus, we trust in YOU. Bless-bless, Barb
