Listening to the rain - 7th Sunday of Easter...Hallelujah!

Rose got a surprise in the purse her sister, Mary, gave her for her birthday a few weeks ago.  We are so grateful for all the wonderful gifts we receive, and we are in the midst of some rainy days for which we are giving God the highest praise!  A grand Hallel Psalm from mass today!  Psalm 103;
Bless the Lord, O my soul;
and all my being, bless his holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits.
Hallelujah

For as the heavens are high above the earth,
so surpassing is his kindness toward those who fear him.
As far as the East is from the West,
so far has he put our transgressions from us.
Hallelujah
Pat gifting his mom some lilac blossoms.  Thinking about how we love gifts that come from the heart, and not necessarily those that are expensive...  Ways that we show our LOVE one for the other.  My husband is not a romantic type, who gives gifts, but for me to get a kind word of gratitude for what I do or some special attention or desiring to spend time with me as he travels to get a part of pick up something for the farm... I am gifted by this!

Beloved, If God so loved us, we must also love one another... if we love one another, God remains in us , and his love is brought to perfection in us.  I John 4:11 from mass today
Watching the rain with much gratitude in his heart!  I too need to gift my husband with cheerfully saying yes, and giving him the attention and help he needs and wants.  Jesus, help me to serve without counting the cost...may I go forth today to work and serve you more cheerfully and willingly.  Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
watching a movie in grandma's bed ... Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
