The kindergarten graduate, David, is now home and a great companion for Augustine. They played all afternoon outside in the wind, and came in just as grandma was getting ready to make peanut butter cookies. The boys were great helpers all the way from cracking eggs, and mixing with the mixer...
The helpers get to lick the mixer blades... thumbs up for the cookie dough!
They were great at making them look like wonderful peanut butter cookies pressing them with the fork dipped in sugar... great job boys!
The boys are thinking they made some great cookies with grandma, and now they get to share our good work with all the hungry kids! From the way they disappeared - they are as good as they look!
The pink tu-tus were on the girls - this time in the great windy outdoors...
Too cold to get in, so the girls each watered the grass...
and grandma's garden. Thank you girls! They are saying more rain and we are very hopeful and thankful that our many prayers are being answered.
Soon to be 4 year old Augustine led us in meal prayer tonight. Then we shared another great big family meal - John in the dining room with 5 of the 8. This time grandma used paper plates and cups... much easier for one and all!
Both Ruth and Nancy are big on baths after supper - the result 2 baby boys in diapers!
Luke is a walker and Dominic is a scooter...
It was hard to get the two together for much more than a minute.
A few more months they will be the next herd that runs back and forth together! It is wonderful to watch each little one growing and growing. It is wonderful to share and teach as we are given the opportunity to share our Faith with JOY! Prayers before bed with the candle lit as our prayers are lifted to Jesus!
Bless-bless, Barb
