Birthday grandma, Gail, and I went white shirt shopping and for other additions for our Baptism celebration tomorrow. I had on my list to find a gift for Oma, and so finally she said that she would get some fall decorations that we could put out in front of the house with the help of the grandkids. As we were checking out we agreed that it gives us much more satisfaction to do stuff or give stuff to the kids rather than get something for us. It was fun to set it up with the help of the kids and then the great photo op. It seems that we find ourselves here in the fall (?)... so hard to feel the fall in the air here.
David had just mentioned a scarecrow scaring birds away from our mulberries, so when we saw one today we thought it was a cute addition we wanted to add to our "fall" display in the middle of the Texas desert.
Thanks to Gail's good eye in spotting the white shirts back behind lots of others... I joyfully brought home a white shirt for Patrick to wear tomorrow for Romeo's baptism. He missed wearing white to his in the middle of the night just as we got out of the ambulance... So excited to share this day with Maria and her family at 11:30a tomorrow!
It fits so well and looks so nice! Tomorrow he might wear a tie or a bow tie to look really special!
"Look dad at my new shirt."
"Looking good Patrick!"
Working on a watercolor of the kids together...
Tomorrow is a big day - Romeo enters the Church through Baptism!
