Romeo gets a sweet hug from Patrick after his first bath! The following is a big combination of baby pictures - quite a few of Therese, one of Maria, and then, of course, Romeo from today. We are deciding that Romeo is most like his mom and big sister with the amount of hair and small nose... It is a fun time comparing... it adds up to Romeo is a wonderful new little life all his own, and it is true that "when God created me he was showing off."
Therese and I wanted to look up her baby pictures and compare them to her new brother, so we put them here. This was the 4 generation taken on his baptism day... the hair is darker, but she is the most like her brother.
We really think this looks like some of Romeo today... he had his first bath!
Romeo today was so peaceful and awake after his first bath at home.
How Therese loves her new brother, and we are realizing that they are very much alike at birth with lots of hair and a small nose.
Newborn sleeping Therese is so much like her new brother!
With her Godmother, Susan/now little Sister Hallel
With her Patron Saint... this one made Therese smile!
Therese with her brother... he has the thick hair and it is lighter than baby Therese...She didn't have the "V" hairline either.
Therese with baby Therese about 6 1/2 years ago.
With her parents
With mom after his bath today
Baby Maria with her dad... a familiar looking face and hair to her babies - most especially Therese and Romeo!
Mom, Maria, with her first little one March of 2008
Therese with her grandpa Pat...
Reflection bath pictures are so very special!
Another - they are too special!!!
"He smells so good and he is so wide awake." Says his loving sister when his bath is done.
A sunny day outside today... it has been cloudy and rainy here there is humidity in the air making it feel more like 90 than 85.
Jesus, the Gospel today is the sower and the seed... considering the coming of new life and raising that LIFE as LIGHT... this is how we as family filled with Faith are called to raise a harvest in this world. May the LIGHTS we raise cast forth more and more Truth in all directions and may the harvest grow 100 fold! Jesus, we trust in YOU. Amen and Hallelujah
"The seed that fell on rich soil, they are the ones who, when they have heard the word, embrace it with a generous and good heart, and bear fruit through perseverance." Luke 8:15 from the Gospel for today.
