A day away...

I must have painted this photo frame about 3 years ago and given it to my parents with this picture of the 5 taken when Hallel was home for her home visit in April of 2013...the home visits happen about every 3 years, so I was hopeful for her to come again this spring.  But she warned me that I shouldn't plan on anything - "it is better to be surprised, mom."  "OK."

I have spent the afternoon partially on the road and now visiting, having a nice meal and helping my sister move.  When I got to look at the computer tonight I discovered that all 3 girls have put something special on their blogs today.... Ruth - http://familyfarmexperience.blogspot.com/2015/10/the-bountiful-harvest-of-2015.html?spref=fb
Nancy- http://www.dosmallthingswithlove.com/2015/10/on-letting-things-go.html, and Maria shared that they have been frantically  packing thinking they could be moving to another base, but now it has been postponed.

It is good to see their smiling faces again even if they are next to a pile of boxes.  It seems that the cold wet weather has allowed the girls to get inside and share what has been going on in their lives.  A day away seems like the world has changed.

It is great to be here and to catch up with family with all the harvest done now.  Thank you, Lord, for a good and safe harvest, and a safe day of travels and spending time with Family.  Bless-bless, Barb
