Our oldest angel is 96 today!

A picture of Pat's mom which speaks volumes of her love of family and how she is a shining light in our midst!
Playing with Dominic and his monkey!
With her wonderful caregiver/daughter... day after day with great love serving without counting the cost!   Mom's girls have truly given her all their love and devotion over these last months, but none more than RaTerra!

Happy Birthday to our wonderful grandma Anna!

The Feast of the Guardian Angels today and we are reminded that we each have one... this was thought provoking today on FB...
All those times in Scripture when we are told to "be not afraid" - I have heard that it is 360 times for every day of the year - that we have nothing to fear as our Guardian Angel is on the job!  I do pray their protection over our family, now 23 with a new little LIFE in the womb, every morning and night!  There are many times when I know them to be at work with all the dangers of life on the farm and the little ones we are to watch over.. and the big ones too!  John reported that he was cleaning out a calf feeder and one of the sides came crashing down narrowly missing him.  "That is why I pray to your Guardian Angel."  Also, the unseen assaults by the devil, which are attempting to take our LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!
Pat getting Eucharist for his mother out of the glowing tabernacle a few Sundays back... we had mom with us for mass each Sunday for years - since she broke her hip.  Now we share it with her in her home!  So special to share this meal of heaven and earth together!
Recently mom got a chance to spend some time in our church after months away due to her poor health.  What a gift!  I can only imagine how much she has hungered to return to feast her eyes on her wonderful heritage of Faith and Family!
"We lit many candles and prayed for all our family!"

The Lord has put angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.  Psalm 91 from mass today!
The two girls love to spend time at Great-grandma's house - today is a huge celebration of this great LIFE we have been blessed with as head of our Faith/Family/Farm!
Sharing Jesus in His Body and in our love one for the other!
All the kids love their grandma!  She has been such a huge part of their lives!  So loving and caring and without judgment!  A lesson on loving as Jesus did!
Sharing Faith, touch and time are the greatest gifts we can give and she to us!
She is the heart of our farm family!
The two Marys... great-granddaughter, Mary, prays for her every day!
A real life guardian angel?
 Maria's bunch back in January!
Always a lap for the babies, and they love her touch and care for them!
I feel like being generous with these today!
Sweet Therese with her wonderful great-grandma - they love each other very much and listen to learn from each other about the Truth of LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT/Jesus!
Dear friends that love her so much!

Amazing to have her at the fair!
At The Farm in June!
With 3 year old Rose Ida on a Sunday in May.
John ministering to his grandmother!
Did I say I was getting carried away?  This was in March and speaks of her life on the farm... Life is a gift!
Much love poured upon this beloved mother/grandmother/great-grandmother!
Her openness to life has poured forth upon future generations!
Always loving family surround her like a living bouquet!
Three generations - now 4 as Geri has had her little girl, Edith!

RaTerra's birthday after sharing Eucharist as a family...

Yes, I know - a bit much, but I am on a roll!
One of my favorites of Pat's huge hands!
Lately we have discussed why Pat had undying love for his Catholic Faith - His mother!
With Father Paul - she thinks the world of him!
There is a recurrent theme of her life - love for all and always willing to serve!

John praying with his grandmother - he has frequently brought blessed her with Lourdes water - a special place where miracles happen all the time and where John fell head over heels in love with Our Lady!
Gathered around her bed at night for prayers and she evangelized her Faith to her family always!
Human touch is close to Godliness in its simple closeness and sharing.
I will stop now... a soft family moment of which there are so many over our lives - now into the 4th generation!

Jesus, we thank you for our wonderful grandma Anna!  Bless her this day with all that she needs to love and serve you without counting the cost.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
My two lovers of LIFE and champions for LIFE with our two youngest grandsons in December - Romeo and Dominic!  Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
And protect us!
