Ruth and I put together a nice supper... she has feeding a tribe down to a science. Her porch is wonderful on this glorious evening. She wisely has the little ones' plates full so all they need do is pray and eat. When you have so many little ones it is hard to keep them happy and quiet.
Before supper the sand box was busy with boys..
David and Gus moving sand - they work hard!
Berna and Rose share kitty time in the sand... Ruth and Paul's cottonwood tree is turning golden - my favorite!
Kitty gets lots of attention with these two!
One more of the 8 having supper on the porch - it was 75 degrees today! Tomorrow will be even hotter! A weekend to spend outside right kids?
The big kids take turns sitting between the two little girls to keep them from getting knocked down... Fun!
David's turn! A fun bounce with no tears this time.
Ruth and I then started baths with 3 in the tub to start. We have it down to fun and enjoyable job we can share. Nancy's two youngest are in bed after a big day, and in the morning we will all gather for mass together at the 8a mass. It was a good day shared with 8 grandkids and my great daughter, Ruth! She and I are a good team! Loving the weather and sharing it with kids and animals! Bless-bless, Barb
The Pat and Barb Verly family and their 5 children, in laws and grandkids along with many prayer warriors have been drawn together by John's cancer... sharing daily for 8 months started this blog- Family Soul Story - Our faith, family, farm and now our cancer journey called HEALING have colored and deepened our world. WE continue to share and depend on the support of our prayer warrior community, that has lowered us into the Lord's presence for His healing!
