Berna wants to wrap up the cat in her blanket to keep it warm and loved. The cat is not too sure about this attention and is wanting to go outside.
It is MEA vacation, so I invited Ruth with her crew to come over and help clean out the garden. It is so nice to have the many willing hands to make the job go faster.
The kids thought it was great fun to roll the tires onto the loader...
Ruth and Luke drove the tractor.
Teamwork is always a good way to get things done and to carry the heavy tomato fences that Pat welded this summer.
Now the two little girls help each other.
A squash blossom which will only be pretty for today...no pumpkin from this one!
The two little boys on the 4 wheeler.
Decorating pumpkins before we all enjoyed lunch including some yummy applecrisp Nancy made for us out of some of our pie filling we made a few days ago. So good! Everyone got their tanks filled so that we could go out to Camden to see the leaves, play in them and on the playground!
The little ones with the leaves...
All 8 and a few with bunny ears...
Nature loving Mary found a wooly bear caterpillar.
Ready, set, go!!!!!
St Teresa of Avila today... how she worked hard yet sat at the feet of Jesus in prayer. After this big crazy Family and Farm day... my rosary is calling me to spend some time sitting at the feet of Jesus in prayer. Faith is foremost in importance in our days and then to share that as a family as we work and have fun/play! A gift of LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
One last nice one on this windy day...
Now the wind hit!
