Picked up Rose from preschool and stopped in to show great-grandma her candy!
A birthday selfie by the beautiful statue of Our Lady in front of Milroy church... wearing the blessed rosary from the give away basket in the gathering space and the special necklace and earings - my birthday gift from Maria when I was with them 3 years ago for the birth of Patrick! Happy Birthday Patrick in just 3 days!
Using my new rosary for "Mary time" sitting at the feet of Jesus in Adoration today! The litany of family placed in the monstrance with Jesus. Prayers that have born fruit in our lives!
Luke finds cobs in the bale!
Mom and dad are baling corn stalk bales and Luke got to ride along with mom for the morning so that grandma could have some birthday fun - sitting at the feet of Jesus just like Mary..."Mary who sat beside the Lord at his feet and listened to him speak... "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her." Luke 10: 38-42
Nancy's picture of her kids enjoying this glorious fall day!
She also wrote a great post about how having The Community of the Lamb and our little Sister Hallel in our lives has brought her to a deeper understanding of The Gospel/Jesus in his Word! http://www.dosmallthingswithlove.com/2015/10/on-learning-to-read-scripture-finally.html
I was very excited to get a call from Hallel at about 9:30p their time - they are 7 hours ahead of us. She was tired, but she shared how she had celebrated her birthday on the 18th of September..."A friend took us about half an hour away to the sea. We had lunch and then went for a walk along the sea. We went to St Peter's for mass , and followed a French priest for mass. He went into St Peter's tomb to say mass!" Wow! Going to the sea in Italy after hanging with St Peter for Mass... that is one special 30th birthday, Hallel! Thanks for letting me share in your wonderful life!

You have heard about the rain in NC... so the kids used their pool to stay dry and enjoy their flooded backyard. Fun to share in the family moments through pictures!

Finally a selfie of Ruth and Paul out raking and baling - they said it was a gift to me! They certainly know what makes me tick.
Jesus, thank you for spoiling me a bit today with special time sharing Faith with my wonderful family! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
