Always in motion and on our way to great-grandma's to share Communion!
I feel so strongly the Truth shared in the second reading today about how alive and powerful and Christ in our midst is His Word! Each day it brings so much into my heart, mind and soul and along with so much more we are given through The Church - it fills me with Good to outweigh the bad. Jesus really spoke about how The Good comes to the world through God alone!
The girls went with me over to Great-grandma's after mass to share The Eucharist with our wonderful matriarch. Such a glorious day to take a walk to our car.
Mary is a wonderful helpful and sweet girl - willing to help out with the two active little girls!
The Gospel today reminds us that we are called to not let things rule over us, but to be able to leave all behind and follow after HIM! There was a petition for all women religious today at mass that made me smile, because they are truly called to poverty and take a vow to live in that way. Their possessions fit in a backpack and do not interfere in their call to love and serve and follow after Jesus! It is true that Hallel has been blessed with so much in her giving all away... There is no one who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for my sake and for the sake of the Gospel who will not receive a hundred times more now in this present age: houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and eternal life in the age to come. Mark10:30 So true, Hallel now has over 100 sisters and brothers and the world is her home!!! She has lived in France, Rome and Kansas City and Marsailles, France too!
Picking up beautiful leaves under a glorious tree!
Chicken dance entertainment!
Well, they were cute and dressed alike... It makes me kind of crazy in my flashback to all the girls dresses alike for Sunday!
Hanging out with great-grandma and watching the chicken dance craziness.
Prayer after Communion
"We entreat your majesty most humbly, O Lord,
that, as you feed us with the nourishment
which comes from the most holy Body and Blood of your Son,
so you may make us sharers of his divine nature.
Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen"
Mom, receive Jesus/The Bread of LIFE. Amen
A fun project with RaTerra for the kids.
Jesus, we look to you always and know that we need to die to self so that Good may dwell in us and we may follow after you. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
It was good to share some time and Jesus in his Word and Body... We are filled with so much goodness and LIGHT/LIFE/LOVE! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
Thoughts of Little Sister Hallel today and how rich we have become through her saying "yes" to her call!
