Such a wonderful week! Miss them already, and harvest without breaks!

Nancy wasn't out the door 10 minutes and I suddenly felt sad to know that they were not coming back, but were on their way home to the Cities!  I am going to miss those dimples and that hair to brush each morning and listening to her sweet voice share her thoughts and feelings.
It was such a great week with canning and cleaning out my garden til next spring, and many large meals out on Ruth's glorious porch, and family time supreme, and riding along with Pat to give him some company on his long harvest days and nights.  As Pat mentioned... there has really been no breaks with rain.  One landmark of the week - Dominic is now a walker!
Nancy and Dominic are missed around here!

Some good visits with great-grandma!
Maurice, mom's only surviving brother, came for a visit out in front of the house as he cannot get into the house any more.  It was great!
A parting blessing one for the other that they would do in their home with their parents and the 10 siblings.
No more 3 girls visiting grandma til Nancy can come back again to spend some time on the farm.  We love you and miss you.
New walker, Dominic, is a sweet little boy.
Pat put John and I into awe watching him climb up and down the bin as it was filled to the brim with corn.
Pulling out of the home site where Pat and I lived with our first 4 little girls.  The house is now gone, and John never lived here.  So many fond memories - 37 years of being a farm wife!  Life is good and harvest is great this year.  Bless-bless, Barb
