Our newest member, little Rose Ida, is starting to look at her mom and try to smile. How she loves her mom, and needs her for everything. How this Truth of the Franciscans comes to me this day in the idea of the "poverty of God." And now I feel that I have a wonderful saint in heaven- St Anthony - to have him watching over our tiny ones whether they are in our arms or in the womb yet! He loves the infant Jesus, and the beauty of LIFE as it comes to our world! ST Anthony, St Anthony watch out for the poor in the little ones of this world! Come to the aide of our battle against abortion and the lies of this world in the value of LIFE!
Bless-bless, Barb
This just came in the mail! What a gift it is to see Hallel! It was taken about a month ago in Paris by a couple visiting there and they asked to take their picture outside a church. Hallel said that they could if they sent us one... Thank you, Hallel! It was such a gift to receive today! You look wonderful! We love you and maybe miss you a little bit less by getting this today or maybe it makes us miss you a bit more...
"The law of perfect freedom is the love of God which is perfect in every way and makes man free of all slavery. This is why the Psalm says of the just man: 'The law of God is in his heart' (37:37); for in the just man's heart is the law of divine love, and for this reason the Proverbs say: 'Son, give me your heart' (23:26). As when catching a bird the hawk seeks its heart and eats it, so God seeks no other part of a human being, loves nothing in us as much as the heart, in which is the law of love. 'And therefore his steps shall not falter.' (Psalm 37:31)... But the just man's steps do not falter, because the law of love is in his heart; and he who has continued in that law of love will be blessed in what he does. For love of God confers grace in his present life and happiness in future life. May he lead us to this, who is blessed forever." St Anthony of Padua (1231)
