A glorious night on the farm

Tonight I am sitting inside in the air conditioning - a quiet house - Nancy and her two little ones have returned to the Cities.  It is humid windy and overcast, and just makes me once again appreciate the postcard evening we had on Tuesday on our adventure to the back pasture with the 6 little ones.  All was perfect for capturing such a wonderful picture to cherish.  Next summer little Bernadette will be old enough to sit on the rock with her toes in the water with Rose, and Ruth will have a 7 month old in her arms.  All these calves will be either gone to the slaughter plant by now or getting pregnant with their first calf and join the herd of cows.  The circle of LIFE never stands still, and it always in motion.  Taking each day as it comes it seems slow and one step in front of the other, but when I see how fast the little ones are growing - My head spins at how fast things are changing.  It seems that my kids were the little ones in my nest and now they have their nests!  It is so special to me to see my little girls in Rose... she looks so much like them!  So super fun!
I really want to share a movie of Patrick walking behind a chair here, but I can't figure out how to share it...
Bless-bless, Barb
