Just as Relay for LIFE was to begin a storm hit, and took the wind out of our sails for our 4th anniversary of cancer showing up in a CT scan done in the ER in Marshall on this day 4 years ago. All our wonderful bags were ruined and the candle lit walkway was no more, so the whole thing was called off. It was one to go down in record books. The year that a storm hit just as it was to begin and ended all the activities. John went off to see the local play that was openning tonight - Beauty and the Beast. I am sure that he is meeting and greeting his old acting buddies, and probably sad that he missed out on being a part of it this year.

The storm should be done at their house now too. Lord, keep all safe in the midst of this stormy night.
