The squirrel in the tree wonders what happened to all those nutty soybeans! One day they were there and day later they are gone! All the soybeans are now harvested minus a few wet spots in our fields about 10 miles away...Today corn harvest begins!
A lone radish seed that loved the rain and grew the size of a potato! What a find and added to my lunch straight out of the garden with freshly dug potatoes and beets and corn from our freezing in August... throw in a tomato and that is a true "farm lunch!"
The potatoes aren't that huge but that radish sure is! It's sweet and crispy too!

Pat on the run hauling corn to the bin... Good crop and dry enough to go straight into the bin with no drying... Now that the rain has dried up it is a good year due to the great rain that we had throughout the entire summer!

Lord, thank you for being with all the farmers and blessing their progress with good weather, wonderful crops, and safety, and a beautiful sunset that reminds us of the glorious world you created... that reveals your glory and love for all of mankind! Jesus we trust in you! Amen and Halleluia!
