I knew the title of this picture even before I took it this afternoon. I noticed that granddaughter 4 year old, Mary Lanoue, had brought her sunglasses with her... Knowing that her namesake was newly cleaned and on my deck, and the beautiful fall trees were a sunny backdrop... Plus it being Saturday which is a day devoted to Mary the Mother of God... it was a no brainer! Good thing that I have her trained with numerous poses over this many years... There were at least 3 to choose from, but I made myself pick just one trying to practice temperance! Both of my Marys are the coolest and that is a totally heartfelt sentiment! "Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy... Our light, our sweetness and our hope." My little granddaughter is totally cool and totally sweet too! She has always loved her namesake and so she was happy to hang out on a cool sunny fall day! "Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we might be worthy of the promises of Christ."
The Pat and Barb Verly family and their 5 children, in laws and grandkids along with many prayer warriors have been drawn together by John's cancer... sharing daily for 8 months started this blog- Family Soul Story - Our faith, family, farm and now our cancer journey called HEALING have colored and deepened our world.
