The rake sitting in the yard was a special sight and made an interesting and pretty picture with the blue sky and the leaves... I won't be raking those leaves, but corn leaves!
Soon it was out in the field and I was the designated driver! What was the job? The rake pulls all of the corn leaves and stalks into a big pile so that Pat can pick it up with the baler and make round bales for bedding the cows and calves through the winter.

Making the long corn leaf pile down the field...Looks like it would be fun to jump in like a regular leaf pile.. maybe a bit dirtier though and watch out for the baler!
