Patrick spent the night in his momma's room! She has been home to pick up her Joseph and head in to bring their son home! So that we don't get too hopeful that it will be quick - they are telling the kids that they shouldn't expect him til after naps. I want to keep this short so that I will jump straight on here with the first ever family pictures, taken when they are all on the same side of the glass!
So we are preparing for Patrick's arrival! The table has two siblings at the table working on watercolors of their family all together! Therese put the statues of Mary and Jesus outside too! It got us into a conversation about how our Spiritual Mother is shared by all of us... Little Sweet Therese's words; "Mary is my Mother, your Mother, grandma, and great-grandma's Mother too! She is the best Mother to all of us!" I think she has got the beauty of Mary from a beautiful faith filled 4 year old perspective, and that is about as good as it gets. I feel like I just sat at the feet of a very wise clear visioned person, and had the LIGHT turn on within and the Truth come to me in the most sweet way. Next posting will be the arrival of Patrick, which could be soon! Join us in prayer for his good transition into the loving arms of his family! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
"Brothers and sisters: I urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace; one Body and one Spirit, as you are also called to the one hope of your call; one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." Ephesians 4: 1-6 The first reading for the day! Wow!
Her family and the statues outside - but Mary was taken into our HOMES, and she is a Spiritual Mother to us all! Maria is holding little Patrick far left! Too wonderful and soon to be REAL!
