You pregnant women filled with a new life: Bless the Lord.
You old women waiting and praying: Bless the Lord.
You men and women away from home protecting our country: Bless the Lord.
You that have not been showed the Truth - see in the beauty of this world His face: Bless the Lord.
You who are busy in the fields taking out the crops: Bless the Lord.
You suffering inside or outside: Bless the Lord and trust in His healing and forgiveness.
After reading morning prayer and the Canticle of Daniel 3... I just wanted to carry over St Francis' love of creation and all that comes to us..."St Francis understood in true humility what glory lies in being a creature of so great and loving a God."
It is good to have a visible sign to all that Mary and Jesus dwell in our hearts and therefore in this home! "Praise and exalt him above all forever!" Little Dave just asked about Jesus getting bigger - he is 2 1/2! I told him that Jesus gets bigger and bigger in our hearts and takes more and more of our lives. Yes, Jesus gets bigger and bigger and grows in our homes and our lives and our hearts! Jesus, thank you for this glorious feast day - the reminder that we need to remember how blessed we are to have such a loving God, and how it is so visible to us in the beauty of nature around us and the domestic Church we are surrounded with. Jesus, may we trust and wait with great hope and LOVE! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Halleluia
Bless-bless, Barb
Let us refer al good to the Lord, God Almighty and Most High, acknowledge that every good is his, and thank him 'from whom all good comes for everything.' May he, the Almighty and Most High, the only true God, have, be given, and receive all honor and respect, all praise and blessing, all thanks and glory, to whom all good belongs, he who alone is good." St Francis of Assisi (1226)
Thinking of Hallel and her amazing Community of the Lamb and their life of poverty - yet LOVE for HIM!
