    "There are such things as authentic, unexplainable events - i.e., miracles.

    My son, Patrick Joseph, should be dead - if not, then brain dead, or severely handicapped. He is still in the critical section of the NICU (continuing with their course of observation and neonatal therapy).

    Maria and I got the MRI results this evening: the doctor was unable to find any sign of damage. While there is still a possibility of a light case of cerebral palsy or epilepsy, his condition is still amazing.

    Due to the necessarily damaging events of his birth, this is unexplainable.

    I cannot thank you enough for your prayers.

    Non nobis, Domine, sed nomini Tuo da gloriam. "

    "Patrick's first brain scans came back today... AMAZING news! His brain looks great no signs of damage. Holy Lord thank you for this miracle. Everybody who prayed for little Patrick we thank you. God is alive and he loves us. Can't wait to give little Baby Patrick a big ol' hug."
