A farmboy goes on a farm visit....

David went with grandma to pick up grandpa as he dropped off a tractor to be fixed.  He got to feed some horses handfulls of grass, and decided that he liked the white one the best and would only feed that one.  The golden one looking at him is named Simon and Mary and I met him a few years back, when she was horse crazy!  Dave really was interested in chickens too, and we ended up in the barn looking for eggs...
Instead he found some half grown chickens, and found that interesting.

Then it was back to feed Tonto, his horse, a few more handfulls of green yummy grass and pet her soft nose through the fence.  There was a chicken that was curious about this little boy in blue too!  All in all it was a fun farm adventure for a farmboy, who had spent the morning riding along with dad in the track tractor... some sitting in the seat and eating out of his lunchpail and part sleeping on his pillow covered up with a blanket on the floor.  Then the men got rained out and everybody went home for much needed naps after working in the wee hours of the morning.

It is hard to imagine a much more exciting life than that of a little farmboy, isn't it?
All the corn is in the ground and they had started on beans when the rain came!  We continue to appreciate and need the rain, and work around it!
While Dave was outstanding in his field...

Mom and little Rosebud bonded and rested... after

Mary and Simon went to school with Purrs the cat looking on... Now a family of 6, the day was nice and peaceful for new little Rose and her mom.  All are doing well, and David the farmboy had lots of good adventures to share.  Life is good!  Never a dull moment is the way that I describe my life and I think Ruth's family would agree.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
