Planting done and school's out for the summer!

Flat tire on the digger was a frantic stop for repairs with the planter close behind.  The final day of planting for the season... Now looking for a good rain for the seeds freshly planted in the ground.  This hot - 96degrees this afternoon - wind - almost 30-40 mile/hour wind gusts today... is sucking so much moisture out of the ground.  Now the rain is much desired, Lord.  Keep is coming throughout the summer, please and thank you for the wonderful rain that we have gotten this spring.  It all worked out perfectly for the guys to get the crop in under great conditions!  Thank you, Lord!
Yes, it's a somewhat dirty window, but that is an out and out dust storm due to the horrific wind storm today.  The cows and calves kind of laid low in some more sheltered areas today in the pasture.

Over for a supper with the little family to celebrate the crop safely in and school's out - I needed to see my kids and was thrilled to see little Rose awake and in the skirt that grandma had bought her and one of the farm onesy that Nancy had made for her.  She is getting so big already and loved to lay by me on the couch and watch all the activity of her brothers and sister playing as well as the adults sitting at the table visiting!

It was fun to take these pictures from Rose's perspective... she loved to just lay quietly and watch her siblings having fun... It seemed like she was looking forward to joining them soon!

"Mary, I want to play too!"

So much fun to spend some "family time"with the ever active grandkids and the new arrival, who seemed to be totally loving watching her older siblings... Before we know it she will be part of the craziness, and we will learn to know the unique personality that will belong to Rose Ida, a wonderful creation of God, is going to have!

"Hey David!  Wait for me!  I want to play with the big yellow ball too!"
Full with momma milk and worn out with all the activity - sweet little chubby cheeked Rose Ida sleeps in mom's hands...

Bless-bless, sweet little Rose Ida!   We love you and are so glad that you came to be part of our family/domestic Church!

If there ever was a picture of PEACE - this would be it!   Have a great summer changing and being loved and cherished!  Jesus, we trust in you.

Bless-bless, Barb
