Ruth and her little Rose went in to the doctor today - Ruth was to get her staples out, and Rose had her bilirubin checked - it turned out to be fine. Ruth asked about how her uterus looked this time, and the OB told her a more insightful story of how Dr Wall saved her uterus 6 years ago! She has a large incision from one hip to the other, and being cut that way was very good and much stronger for Ruth's pregnancies. Then Ruth was told that Dr Wall really "stuck her neck out" by saving her uterus in the first place - "She could have much more easily have given you a hysterectomy rather than take the time to sew you up after rupturing." Ruth and I got pretty emotional to look at her two precious children that would not have been here, if Dr Wall had not taken the time and energy it took for her to really do the best job that she could for Ruth and her fertility!
Thank you, Dr Wall, for being an instrument of Jesus - being His hands healing Ruth's uterus - answering her prayers and hopes for family! These two precious gifts of LIFE and LOVE would not be here in this world without the good work that you accomplished in saving Ruth's fertility! We got pretty emotional today as we looked upon this loving brother and sister, and how much they mean to us!
