Little Sisters from the Community of the Lamb - the Gospel comes to life!
It is so amazing to me when I see how instantly the grandkids are drawn to the Little Sisters whenever we are with them! Therese had just met LS Sarah for the first time and as you can see.... is very loving towards someone that is really a stramger to her! The fact that she is dressed the same way that her Godmother is dressed certainly helps her to know that this is a familiar person to her. Her Godmother is my daughter, Little Sister Hallel, and she was here at Thanksgiving time and drove her uncle John to radiation in Rochester for that week. Susan/Little Sister Hallel stayed with Maria and Nancy for that week and even Ruth went up there with her 3 kids to get some time with all of her siblings in one place! It was very hard for me to let them be there without me, but I needed to allow Susan to take John back and forth to Rochester that week and have a week here at home with my husband! We had been seperated by this cancer and all the treatments... either he or I would take John and the other would stay at home and work... so to have an opportunity for the two of us was more important than for me to be with all 5 of my kids together up in the Cities! WE did then gather up there for Thanksgiving day and Nancy's fiance fixed an amazing turkey for all of us, but my oldest, Ruth, was missing with her family as she had to be back here working as a nurse for the holiday! In a long winded way... I am saying that Therese knew the Little Sisters from spending a week with LS Hallel and Judith... so she quickly warmed up to two that she only just had met! But more than that... they sense that they are happy and loving after all the time they spend in prayer and worship with their spouce - Christ!

Greetings, Sisters, from Branson, MO! I sure miss hearing your singing. Even though Branson may seem to be a music capitol of some sort, it can do NOTHING to compare to the lovely harmonies when one sings to God.
ReplyDeleteGod bless and Joyeux Noel!
